The annual 18 day Accurate & Royal Polaris sponsored trip returned to San Diego on February 26. It was an amazingly good trip with plenty of yellowfin tuna and wahoo for all.The annual "crew wahoo gaff landing contest" was won by crewman Eddie. Eddie won a Benjamin Franklin $100.00 bill, as per a vote of all anglers after viewing the end of trip slide show of the wahoo landings.
Accurate brought 50 Accurate reels matched to Calstar rods for all anglers to use throughout the trip. There were Accurate derby prizes and Accurate t-shirts for all anglers.
